Jemma Lostroh
Jemma is a People and Culture Business Partner at True Foods in Maryborough.
Growing up in NSW on a dairy farm with her family, Jemma worked at local cafes to gain work experience.
While Jemma wasn’t sure which direction to follow, she was driven and competitive at High School and enjoyed Business and Humanities subjects.
This led Jemma to completing her qualification in Business, where she has now had experience working at DON KR, Bendigo Health and is now at True Foods.

What subjects did you study at school?
I completed year 12 at school where I studied Business, Community Studies, Humanity Studies and Maths, then a Bachelor of Business at La Trobe, majoring in Event Management and Management.
What did you find difficult when gaining employment?
Gaining my qualification opened up so many opportunities that I found it difficult making a choice on my next step. However working within a large organisation was a priority for me, as this would give me room to continue to develop.
How important was talking about what job you wanted with Friends or members of your family?
Very! Every time I had a new thought or changed paths I spoke to my family and friends.
