2017 Celebration
2017 Celebration
The 2017 Passions & Pathways celebration brought together everyone involved in the 2017 Passions and Pathways program to celebrate the vast range of achievements accomplished throughout the year and the conclusion of the program’s sixth consecutive year.
This year the Passions and Pathways team had the honor of being finalists in The Victorian Education Excellence Awards which recognises government school employees who go above and beyond the call of duty to deliver outstanding achievements for students and the schools they work for.
The Passions & Pathways steering committee was delighted to recognised for its hard work, and also celebrated the success of a key member of the committee and partner in the program since its inception. Di Craig, Principal of Specimen Hill Primary School, was awarded the coveted Outstanding Principal of the Year award.
Passions and Pathways is a unique partnership between the Goldfields Local Learning and Employment Network (GLLEN), four Bendigo primary schools, state and local government, industry bodies and more than 40 local businesses and organisations. This year four primary schools in Bendigo participated, including; Eaglehawk Primary School, Lightning Reef Primary School, Specimen Hill Primary School and St Monica’s Primary School.
