PASSIONS & PATHWAYS CURRICULUM

The 10 week career related learning lessons align directly to both the Victorian Curriculum and the Australian Blueprint for Career Development.

Lessons are age appropriate, engaging, embedded across subject areas and responsive to a changing world of work.

IN-CLASS CURRICULUM

Teachers are supported to deliver the program complete with lesson plans, explainer videos, curriculum links, student worksheets, rubrics, and virtual learning materials. During these classroom lessons, students learn about;

  • self awareness and exploration of skills & interests

  • exploration of the changing nature of life & work roles

  • personal management skills that support future aspirations and career goals

  • developing an understanding of relationships between work, society and the economy

VICTORIAN CURRICULUM

Each lesson is connected to the Victorian Curriculum and assists teachers delivering classroom content in:

  • Economics & Business

  • English

  • Critical & Creative Thinking

  • Design & Technologies

  • Health & Physical Education

  • Personal & Social Capabilities

AUSTRALIAN BLUEPRINT FOR CAREER DEVELOPMENT

Passions & Pathways aligns to the Australian Blueprint for Career Development (ABCD) framework with direct links to the twelve Career Management Competencies.

At it’s core, the blueprint identifies the skills, attitudes and knowledge that individuals need to make sound choices and to effectively manage their careers. The Passions & Pathways program has a focus on personal management, learning and work exploration and career building, underpinned by career theory.
